I was born on March 25, 1813.
I am a happily married woman living near the booming town of Cincinnati.
My husband's name is Jasper, and he is very good to me.

I have two very good friends, Helen and Betty. They are also of the middle class. We sew and play cards together all of the time!
I learned how to read and write at a private school in Boston, along with some basic math.
Although I wanted to pursue a further education, perhaps at Oberlin College, my family discouraged me from doing so. They held firm to the belief that a lady's place was in the household.
I am not actively involved in politics because there are more important things, like the household, for a woman to be worried about.
However, I believe that if I were given the opportunity to chose our nation's president this election year, I would choose Harrison because after the Panic of 1837, our nation needs a change in leadership and a more united industry.

In my spare time, I love to read romance novels, such as Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I am a guardian of domestic virtue in our middle class home.
My job is to teach my children early education and nurture them.
I am also the consumer for my home, which includes cooking, cleaning, and furnishing the house.
My husband, though, owns a profitable meat packing business in the urban center of Cincinatti.

Shoud it be easier for a woman to file and recieve a divorce?
I believe that women should be able to get a divorce if that is what they desire. Women have enough to do around the house that the last thing they need is an abusive husband corrupting the morals of the children, too.
